TRINIDAD STATE COLLEGE
Neuroscope Films is a year-round exhibition and education platform exploring the evolving relationship between storytelling, art, and emerging technology.
Based in Southern Colorado and powered by Emergent Campus, with Trinidad State College as our educational partner, Neuroscope brings together filmmakers, artists, students, technologists, and audiences to discover what happens when new creative tools meet great storytelling.
We exhibit work from around the world—from traditional narrative films and animation to AI-assisted filmmaking, CGI and VFX, video art, music videos, immersive media, digital characters, experimental work, and forms of storytelling that may not have a name yet.
But Neuroscope isn't built around a single festival weekend. We curate projects. We curate audiences. And we curate places.
Throughout the year, selected work is programmed into screenings, exhibitions, educational programs, special events, and conversations across Southern Colorado. Our primary screening venues include the Massari Theatre at Trinidad State College and Tri Peaks Theatres, while special programs may take Neuroscope into museums, galleries, classrooms, cultural spaces, and unexpected venues throughout the region.
A film about the American West might belong in a museum. Experimental video art may belong in a gallery. A groundbreaking AI short could become the centerpiece of a student workshop. A remarkable film made by a teenager halfway across the country might inspire an entire evening of programming.
That's the idea.
We believe emerging technology is changing who gets to make films, how stories can be told, and where those stories can find an audience. Neuroscope exists to discover that work, put it on a screen, and create a conversation around it.
Submissions are accepted year-round. When you submit to Neuroscope, you're not simply entering one event or competing for one screening date. You're placing your work into consideration for our ongoing curatorial programming.
Where your work takes us next is part of the discovery.
